American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
[link] Please go here and sign up. Help fight for the animals that can't fight for themselves. Here you can send letters to your senators and representatives about bills being passed to help prevent animal cruelty and give inhumane humans a bigger punishment when they committed such acts. Example of story - A guy shot two nails into his dog's skull with a nail gun. One of the nails peirced through the dog's eye perhaps blinding him and deafening the ear on that side. The vet was unsure the dog was going to live but performed surgery to remove the nails. What was this guy convicted with? Animal cruelty. How long? 15 days in jail. How much? 1000 dollar fine. If that doesn't seem like a enough to you, it's because it isn't. You wouldn't do this to another human being, so why a dog? A dog who has feelings and is quite intelligent. There is no reason for this. I urge you to join the website above or join another website/program to fight againist animal cruelty. Thank you.  |
